Across 14 above-ground tanks, our strategically located storage facility provides secure and compliant bulk liquid storage for five separate product grades.

Every tank is built to API 650 standard, fitted with automated level gauging and overfill protection, and served by dedicated pipelines that preserve product integrity from vessel to truck.

Secondary Containment

All our tanks are located within reinforced concrete bund walls, designed to contain 110% of the largest tank's capacity in the unlikely event of a leak.

Fire Detection & Suppression

The tank farm is monitored by a vapour detection system and has dyke foam suppression for rapid fire response.

Emission Control System

Emissions are minimised by the use of internal floating roofs, which reduce the internal vapour space for fire safety and ensure environmental protection.

Our storage tank farms and loading gantries are protected by advanced automated foam suppression systems. In the event of a fire, these systems rapidly deploy a blanket of specialised foam to smother the fire, cool the area, and prevent re-ignition.

We have installed three high-capacity vertical suction fire water pumps which abstract water from the lake at a flow rate of 927 cubic metres per hour, providing adequate fire-fighting cover and cooling for the storage tanks.

Automatic Response Sequence

Detection

Optical flame and thermal heat detectors identify a potential fire incident in milliseconds.

Alarm & Notification

The system automatically triggers audible and visual alarms and sends an instant notification to our central control room and the on-site emergency team.

Suppression Activation

The relevant suppression system (foam or mist) is automatically activated, targeting the specific zone where the fire was detected.

System Shutdown

Emergency shutdown (ESD) protocols are initiated, cutting off product flow and de-energising electrical circuits in the affected area to prevent escalation.

Intelligent Power Distribution & Switching

Automated Transfer Switch (ATS) System

The heart of our backup system is the Automated Transfer Switch. This intelligent unit constantly monitors the main grid power. The moment it detects an interruption or instability, it automatically disconnects from the grid and signals the generator to start, seamlessly transferring the load to our backup supply.

Maintenance Regime

Weekly No-Load Tests

Every week, our generators are started and run without a load to check fluid levels, battery health, and engine performance.

Monthly Load Tests

Once a month, we perform a simulated outage, transferring the facility's actual electrical load to the generators to ensure they perform under real-world conditions.

Annual Overhaul

A comprehensive annual service is conducted by certified technicians, including changing filters, belts, and coolants, and performing detailed diagnostics.
